59th Festival of Frugality
Golbguru did a fantastic job categorizing the posts for the 59th Festival of Frugality and I have to say, the headline post basically epitomizes what the festival is about: How To Get To The Last Drop (of Toothpaste) – Buying a $12 gizmo so you can squeeze every last penny of toothpaste (or anything out of a squeezable bottle).
Other notables include how aprons are frugal, how to save $1400 on sodas while doing good deeds (I once blogged about a similar designated driver program at Camden), and how brands names might not be all that (sometimes brand names are made by the same company, just different names, but in this case the brand name wasn’t so coy as to repackage, they just scribbled out the generic name and put theirs on it).
