With 4 kids we go through a lot of batteries so rechargeable makes perfect sense. I hate going to the movies, dvd's are so much better. We bought a projector and screen about 3 years ago for $600 and it is one of the best purchases we ever made. We have our own movie night!! And I love the library, my family goes at least twice a week. That is a big money saver because you can get books, movies, games and puppets.
