My Favorite Picks from Frugality Thirty-Eight

Nina did a great job over at Queer Cents last week with her hosting of a Queer Eye themed Festival. This week there were over twenty submissions so there’s bound to be an article or two or twenty in there that will suit your tastes. Personally, I found two can’t miss articles:

1. The Bargain Queen’s article titled Is expensive skincare worth the money?? First off, gorgeous looking blog! Second, I totally agree with her opinion. My fiance has worked at L’Oreal and my friend from home has worked at Estee Lauder, both have said that the more expensive lotions are often the same, chemically, as the cheaper lotions (of the same brand)! The only difference is often only the scent! The only thing I would say, and Bargain Queen said this too, is that if you are going to get lotion, make sure it has a little bit of SPF in it so you can protect yourself against the sun’s damaging rays.

2. FMF has a smoking hot tip for you Krispy Kreme addicts (do not read this tip if you are trying to stop eating them).

You still have a few precious hours to submit your entry for next week’s edition being published at Get Rich Slowly!

Actually, I processed everything this afternoon. I just finished writing my entry! I guess I’d better go check that inbox one last time. :)

    Thank you!

And thanks for passing on the insider info too. I’ve read the same thing in consumer reports, and it just adds to my suspicions that most of what you get for the extra money is prettier packaging.
